The longest mille-feuille cake made in Serbia

On the occasion of the „Own Business Day“, organized by METRO Cash & Carry Serbia every year around the world, a 50-metre long mille-feuille cake was made.

50 young chefs and pastry chefs of the Junior Chefs Club of Serbia, as well as 20 students and teachers of the Catering and Tourism High School in Belgrade showed their creativity in preparing the cake.

CEO of METRO Cash & Carry Serbia, Roberto Mancuso, has said that the company has established, as one of its main missions, close cooperation with entrepreneurs because they “are aware that the success of independent business is everyone’s success“.

„Entrepreneurial spirit is a key driving force for the development of every economy. Without strong support for entrepreneurs, we cannot make any progress, innovation, and, thus, we cannot reach quality sustainability in any sphere of business operation,“ Mancuso said.

„Own Business Day“ is dedicated to millions of entrepreneurs around the world for whom METRO works and to whom it tries to be a reliable partner in the improvement of their business operation.
