No buyer for Jagodina Brewery
Jagodina Brewery was not sold on Tuesday, as no one paid a deposit, which amounted to RSD 142.2 million, it was announced by the Centre for Bankruptcy in Belgrade.
On 4 November, the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency of Serbia announced the sale of Jagodina Brewery, one of the oldest Serbian companies.
The estimated value of the brewery was RSD 711 million, and „the bankruptcy administrator was obliged to accept the highest offered bid, if it exceeded 50 percent of the estimated value of the subject of the sale“.
If the highest submitted bid was lower than 50 percent of the estimated value, the bankruptcy administrator was obliged to obtain the approval from the Creditors’ Committee before accepting such a bid.
