Do you know how long you will travel from Belgrade to Novi Sad? 27 MINUTES exactly
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has stated that in two years, a train trip from Belgrade to Budapest would last less than three hours. „In December 2021 and in January 2022, we will travel by high-speed train from the centre of Belgrade to Novi Sad in 27 minutes, and by a slower train that stops at Pazova, Indjija and other stops – in 35 minutes,“ he told Prva TV. Vucic said Serbia would be the country with the highest salaries in the Western Balkans. „Before the end of the year, we will have an average salary in Serbia of EUR 500 – 550,“ he said. He stressed the importance of the new big five-year investment plan worth ten billion euros. Asked what the source of funding would be, he replied: „Growth will be the source of funding.“ He announced new investments across the country, as well as higher salaries of physicians and medical professionals. „I expect that an increase in salaries will certainly not be lower than ten percent. I think these are significant increases,“ he stated. The minimum wage will be increased to about RSD 30,000, he said. „People will live better owing to all this,“ Vucic said.
