Concession „Tesla“ as European transaction of the year
The concession of Belgrade based Nikola Tesla Airport is proclaimed the European Transaction of the Year in 2018, in category of airports, based on election of „IJGlobal Award“, which refers to project in the field of infrastructure financing.
„In order for a transaction to receive this recognition, it is necessary for companies that participated in it to be particularly active in the previous calendar year, and they also need to have high ranking among global experts for the appropriate industry,“ the Ministry of Infrastructure announced.
The concession agreement for Belgrade Airport was signed with representatives of the French company VINCI in March 2018. The total value of concession contract for 25 years is around EUR1.5 billion, out of which EUR732 million is the amount of investments.
