CEO of Delta Holding Milka Vojvodic: The most successful year since 2011
In 2021, Delta Holding generated revenues of 619 million euros, which is an increase of 22.3 percent over the previous year.
In the same period, operating profit before tax (EBITDA) was generated in the amount of 63.03 million euros, i.e. 28.8 percent more than in 2020.
In 2021, 126.7 million euros were paid into the budget of the Republic of Serbia on the basis of taxes and duties.
„According to these results, 2021 was the most successful year in Delta’s business, since 2011 when the company decided on a major turnaround in its portfolio and left the retail business,“ Milka Vojvodic, CEO and senior vice president of Delta Holding for finances and economy, said at a press conference.
„Such successful business operation is enabled primarily by the knowledge and motivation of our people, and then by continuous investment in new projects and the most modern technology, which we will continue in the upcoming years,“ said Milka Vojvodic.
For 2022, Delta Holding announces the continuation of high investments in all the areas in which it operates.
Ananas e-commerce platform will start operating soon. It is an investment that will reach a total of about 100 million euros, and the plan is to employ 900 people by 2025. A high investment in technology and logistics, as well as the proper state-of-the-art distribution centre, will enable Ananas to provide customers with superior delivery, i.e. a user experience that has never been seen in this region.
