Budget of Vesic’s portfolio 2.5 billion euros

Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic has said that the state budget for 2023 allocated 288 billion dinars, i.e. 2.5 billion euros for this ministry.

“Infrastructure costs money. Look at the highway from Pozega to Kotroman. It is one-third in the tunnels, one-third on the pillars and one-third on the embankments. If you work through different parts of the country, if you want to build properly and with high quality, then simply building infrastructure costs,“ Vesic told Prva TV.

According to him, the budget for next year is 40 billion dinars higher than in 2022.

„When all capital projects that we will implement in 2023 in Serbia (in all portfolios) are added up, we come to a total of 3.6 billion euros. This is the highest investment in capital investments of all the Western Balkan countries combined,“ Vesic added.
