Brnabic: Three companies want RTB
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has said in Majdanpek that so far at least three companies have shown interest in strategic partnership at RTB Bor, thus they applied for the tender which deadline expires on August 20th.
Brnabic has visited the Copper Mine Majdanpek, which represents a part of RTB Bor. As she has said, Serbia has more and more ore deposits thanks to foreign companies in charge of geological surveys, and state wants to keep as much mineral resources or production in Serbia as possible.
State is in constant contact with those companies and it is trying to get the most out of our country. “From the beginning we have been working with these companies under the premise that majority of mineral resources or production remains in Serbia,” Brnabic has said.
She has reminded that the deadline for bids expires on August 20th, adding that she cannot yet disclose how many companies purchased the documentation, RTS reports.
EUR1.3 billion from tourism
During her visit to the archaeological site “Lepenski Vir”, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has stated that this year’s foreign exchange inflow from tourism will reach around EUR1.3 billion and we will have approximately 3.5 million tourists.
She has told journalists that even greater growth is expected in 2019 when it comes to tourism.
In 2017 we had around 1,000 cruisers with approximately 130,000 tourists. In the first six months of this year, we have almost 40% better results than in the same period of 2017. We have 31 percent more cruisers and 38 percent more tourists on cruisers, Brnabic has said.
