BIZLife list „30 under 30“: Dejan Bojanic, politics

Dejan Bojanic is an analyst and fighter for human rights and sustainable development. He comes from Bela Crkva, and he is currently working in Stockholm, where he manages international relations in a branch of the international charity Save the Children. As a twenty-five year old, Dejan was proclaimed one of 30 most influential young people in the field of policy development in Europe by the influential magazine Forbes. Between 2012 and 2016, Dejan worked on the campaign for education issues, the Global Education First Initiative, of UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon. On that occasion, he cooperated with the Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai to achieve the millennium development goals. Dejan is currently engaged in the European Commission as an expert on sustainable development and he is one of 30 members of the European Commission’s task force for the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in the European Union. Additionally, Dejan is the Vice-President of the world’s largest youth rights organisation, the European Youth Forum.
