BAS takes loan worth MILLIONS for new station
The company Beogradska autobuska stanica (BAS – Belgrade Bus Station) is taking a loan worth 12 million euros for the construction of a new bus station in Novi Beograd. At the urgent session of BAS’s Shareholders’ Assembly scheduled for 29 October, a proposal will be discussed for a loan for the construction of a bus station in Block 42. The proposal includes taking a loan of EUR 12 million from Komercijalna Banka, the Beta agency reported as the eKapija portal cited. The City of Belgrade and BAS have concluded a Contract for the Joint Construction of the Bus Station in Block 42 in Novi Beograd, which defines that the City will provide the location and that BAS is an investor that will fully finance the preparation of the documentation and the construction of the “complex of the new integrated bus station”. The amount of the loan that BAS will take exceeds 30 percent of the carrying amounts of the company’s total assets, as reported in the latest annual financial statement.
