
The List of the Most Influental People in Serbian Media Published
The daily Blic published its traditional annual list of 50 most powerful people in Serbian media, and the first ten are the same lineup from last year.
Once again, the most powerful person in media is Dragan Bujosevic, the general director of Radio Television of Serbia. The second place went to Zeljko Mitrovic, the owner of the Pink Media Group, same as last year. Third is the head of United Group, Dragan Solak.
They are followed by Suzana Vasiljevic, one of the closest associates of president Aleksandar Vucic, Jelena Drakulic Petrovic, the general director of the Ringier Axel Springer, Teodor Kirjaku, the owner of Antena Group, Aleksandar Rodic, the head of Adria Media Group, Dragan Vucicevic, the owner of Informer, Jadranka Drinic, the director of Direct Media, and Predrag Rankovic Peconi, the owner of Happy TV.
The biggest leap in the rankings was made by Milorad Vucelic, rising to 11th place, up from the 45th he held last year.
Among the “new guys” on the list are Milomir Maric, the chief editor of Happy TV (33rd place), Zivorad Nikolic, a TV host (36th place), Slavisa Lekic, who last year became the president of the Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia (41st place) and Dragan Janjic, the chief editor of the Beta news agency (50th place)
Same as last year, the founder and director of the regional communications group Represent System, Borislav Miljanovic is in the 44th place. The group is comprised of specialized public relations and digital communications agencies Represent Communications in Belgrade, Podgorica, Skoplje and Banja Luka, the business portal and magazine Bizlife, the editorial office for content creation The Content Studio, the digital advertisement start-up Native Network and the internet analytics platform Digital Element.
