THE BEST: Djokovic’s FIFTH Wimbledon
Novak Djokovic, the world number one tennis player, triumphed at the Open Championship of England, prestigious Wimbledon, for the fifth time, having managed to beat Switzerland’s Roger Federer in the final. Djokovic’s fifth title at Wimbledon is also the 16th Grand Slam tournament that he won in his rich career. The Serbian tennis player was defending the title, and he triumphed after a marathon-like, uncertain battle with Federer, lasting more than 4 and a half hours, as evidenced by the fact that the legendary Swiss veteran won more games in this match than Djokovic, 32:26 (7:6, 1:6, 7:6, 4:6 and 13:12). After this victory, Djokovic remains unshaken at the first place of the ATP list and a step closer to the goal he has recently revealed – to become the best tennis player of all time.
