Sale of commercial property of Agrokor in Serbia

The fact that the Croatian corporation Agrokor is selling its property in Serbia is confirmed by today’s report of the Vecernje novosti daily. According to the newspaper, although the corporation must not sell ownership of its companies in Serbia, it is selling commercial property and real estate in our country these days.

The authorities do not see anything controversial in this, moreover, they consider this action of the corporation as positive for Serbia. Agrokor, through its companies in Serbia, owns a lot of property that is not functional or that they do not need, says the source of the Novosti daily close to the Government of Serbia. The property includes land, warehouses, various facilities…

A few days ago, N1 TV covered the same topic. N1 stated that in Serbia, Agrokor sold the facilities at 22 Njegoseva Street in Nis, as well as in Jovana Ristica Street in the same city.

The Novosti daily says that there are no legal obstacles to the sale, because it is the property of Agrokor and no one is questioning this. In order to sell the property of this corporation, which is under administration, in Serbia, Agrokor needs the approval of the Ministry of Trade and the National Bank of Serbia, the newspaper reports.
