BUDGET has a positive balance of RSD 7.5 billion in the first two months

A surplus in the republic budget in the amount of seven and a half billion dinars was realized in the first two months of this year, as revenues amounted to RSD 214.2 billion and expenditures to RSD 206.7 billion, the Ministry of Finance announced.

A budget deficit of RSD 5.8 billion was realized in February. In that month, revenues in the amount of RSD 103.5 billion were collected, of which tax revenues amounted to RSD 93.3 billion.

The largest tax revenues came from VAT and amounted to RSD 43.8 billion, while RSD 29.9 billion was collected from excises.

Non-tax revenues were realized in the amount of ten billion, and the inflow of donations in February amounted to RSD 0.2 billion, according to the website of the Ministry of Finance.

Expenditures in February amounted to RSD 109.4 billion. Expenditures for employees amounted to RSD 26.7 billion, interest payments to RSD 18.8 billion, capital expenditures to RSD 12.5 billion and transfers to the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, the Republic Fund of Health Insurance, the National Employment Service and SOVO Fund amounted to RSD 17.8 billion.

At the level of state, a fiscal surplus in the amount of RSD 17.4 billion was realized in the first two months and a primary fiscal surplus in the amount of RSD 53.5 billion.

According to the annual plan for the execution of the general government budget, a fiscal deficit in the amount of RSD 59.2 billion is planned for this period.
