BIZLife list „30 under 30“: Aleksandar Andrejevic, entrepreneurship
Aleksandar Andrejevic was born in 1988 in Belgrade, as the third generation in a famous jewellery family. He showed interest in family business as early as elementary school, and after making his first piece of jewellery at the age of 10 – a wedding ring, he decided that he wanted to pursue that occupation in the future. During his high school years in Belgrade in 2003, he completed his first course for certification of diamonds at branch of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Vicenza. Together with his brother Andrej he actively engaged in business and decision making in 2007, after opening of a new sales point in Delta City. After completing undergraduate studies at the University of Singidunum in Belgrade he went to New York where he attended the most prestigious world institute of gemmology, GIA, which he completed as the best in class with an average of 99 percent. After returning to Belgrade he began to design jewellery, which today decorates showcases of sales points in Belgrade and women in particular. Today, together with his parents and brother, he leads the most famous jewellery brand in Serbia with four sales points, well as production of the most exclusive jewellery pieces in these regions.
