Lazar Jovanovic is the founder of the company Smart Watering Systems, and by profession he is an electrical and IT engineer. Together with his friends, he designed a remote control system for irrigation through a mobile app. The aim was to provide farmers with assistance for turning irrigation system on from a remote location. He comes from Mali Zvornik, where he planted hazelnuts, and he then found a way to provide them with remote irrigation. At the end of 2015, together with a friend, he started working on the Smart Watering irrigation controller.
